Construction activities in October, November and December are currently scheduled to include:

• Clearing and mulching vegetation.
• Installing environmental controls.
• Transporting quarry material.
• Earthworks and drainage works.
• Bridgeworks.
• Establishing and operating concrete batch plants.

Hours of construction are Monday to Friday from 7am to 7pm and Saturday 7am to 4pm. Nearby residents will be advised of any work outside these construction hours.

July - September 2008

Construction activities in July, August and September 2008 included:

• Clearing and mulching vegetation.
• Installing envrionmental controls.
• Relocating electricitity and telephone utilities.
• Transporting quarry material.
• Earthworks and drainage works.
• Establishing and operating a concrete batch plant.

April - June 2008

Constrcution activities in April, MAy and June 2008 included:

• Clearing and mulching vegetation.
• Installing environmental controls.
• Relocating electricity and telephone utilities.
• Transporting fill material.
• Earthworks and drainage works.
• Bridgeworks including piling.
• Blasting.
• Pavement works.

January - March 2008

Construction activites in January, February and March 2008 included:

• Installation of environmental controls.
• Fencing, site establishment and utility relocations.
• Clearing and mulching vegetation.
• Stripping topsoil for future reuse.
• Earthworks (including some haulage by road) and bridgeworks.
• Installing stormwater drainage.
• Temporary and permanent pavement works adjacent to the highway.

October - December 2007

Construction activites on the Hume Highway south of Mullengandra to Table Top in October, November and December 2008 included:

• Installation of environmental controls.
• Fencing, site establishment and utility relocations.
• Topsoil stripping, preliminary earthworks and transportation of fill material off site.
• Drainage and pavement works.

April – September 2007

Preliminary construction works from south of the Olympic Highway (Bells Road) to Tynan Road at Table Top are currently scheduled commenced in mid April 2007. The construction activities include:

• Fencing, site establishment and utility relocations.
• Clearing and earthworks.
