A toll free telephone line has been established for community comments, questions or complaints. We welcome your call anytime.

Community feedback and complaints

This website includes a community feedback and complaints facility to enable you to ask questions or raise complaints via email.

Display centre

A display centre has been established at the main Hume Highway Southern Alliance site office at 15335 Hume Highway (on the corner with Knox Road), Table Top. The display centre is open from Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm (excluding public holidays). Appointments can be made at other times by arrangement.

The display centre is staffed by the Hume Highway Southern Alliance community relations team members. Everyone is welcome to visit the display centre to view plans, obtain information and discuss any matters of concern.

The display centre includes information on designs, construction activities, environmental matters, plans, newsletters, photographs and a library of reference documents including the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS), conditions of approval and Environmental Management Plans.

Community updates

Community updates, outlining the progress of the project and upcoming activities will be distributed as required throughout the project and will be downloadable from the Information documents section of this website.

Quarterly construction advertisements

Construction advertisements will be published in The Border Mail and The Holbrook Chronicle every three months to advise the local community of the progress and future work activities. These advertisements will be downloadable from the Information documents section of this website.

Traffic notices (advertisements)

Changes to local traffic conditions advertisements will be published in The Border Mail and/or The Holbrook Chronicle to advise motorists and local residents of possible delays and disruptions. All advertisements will be downloadable from the Information documents section of this website.

Letterbox notifications

Where a particular activity is planned that may have some effect on local residents, advice will be provided to nearby residents via a letterbox notification. The notices will include details of the activity, timing, duration and contact details for further information.

Presentations to local interest groups

During the course of the project construction, site inspections and presentations will be provided to various groups and organisations to enable the community to understand the project and be kept up-to-date with the activities that are occurring. Groups interested in receiving a presentation should contact toll free 1800 674 934.

This project website contains useful information about the project and will be updated regularly throughout the project.
