The Hume Highway Southern Alliance completed dumplication of the Hume Highway from Woomargama to Table Top in September 2009.

A total of 32 kilometers has been duplicatedd to four-lane carriageway and is of freeway standard.

The five sections of the project completed are:

1. Duplication from Woomargama to just south of Mullengandra (11km).
2. Dual carriageways from Mullengandra to Yellow Creek (8kms).
3. Duplication from Yellow Creek to Olympic Highway interchange (6kms).
4. Grade separated interchange at Olympic Highway (2kms).
5. Duplication from Olympic Highway to Table top (3km).
